Moringa by its scientific name Moringa pterygosperma is the most cultivated species of the Moringaceae family. Native to India and Sri Lanka, moringa would have been introduced in the Caribbean zone towards the end of the 19th century-beginning of the 20th century, a period which corresponds to the arrival of the Indians as substitute labor for the former African slaves. Since then the moringa is present throughout the tropics and subtropics of the planet.
The leaves are pinnate, oblong, the petiole is short. The leaflets, 6-9 pairs, small, opposite, pale above, caducous.
The flowers are numerous, white in color with a calyx with 5 divisions and 5 unequal and spatulate petals.
Therapeutic virtues

Moringa is very easy to grow and adapts to any type of soil. The tree is fast growing, resistant to drought and can reach 10 meters in height.
If you want to grow moringa try to get some seeds and plant them. Watering it once in a while is enough to see the stems come out of the ground and the first leaves appear.
