Ingredients

For 6 persons:

  • 1 shortcrust or puff pastry of your choice
  • 80 gr of sugar
  • 75 gr of butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 can of sliced pineapple (10 slices)
  • 1 teaspoon of yeast
  • 100 gr of flour
  • Icing sugar
  • Liquid vanilla
  • Rum (only intended for an adult audience)
Preparation
  1. Spread your shortcrust pastry in a pie dish then prick it with a fork.
  2. Preheat your oven to 180°C (thermostat 6), once at temperature, insert the shortcrust / puff pastry for about ten minutes.
  3. Once pre-baked (dough has become hard), take your shortcrust pastry out of the oven.
  4. In a saucepan, melt the butter then turn off the heat.
  5. In a container pour the sugar, butter and eggs until a frothy mixture is obtained.
  6. Incorporate the yeast into the flour then pour both into the rest of the preparation.
  7. Add a teaspoon of liquid vanilla and a tablespoon of rum.
  8. Pour your preparation over the shortcrust / puff pastry in the pie dish.
  9. Take the pineapple slices from the box while retaining the juice.
  10. Place them on top of the dough so that the entire dish is covered.
  11. In an oven preheated to 180°C (thermostat 6), cook for another half an hour while monitoring the cooking.
  12. Once out of the tower, sprinkle with icing sugar and a few drops of pineapple juice.
  13. Let cool before serving.
  14. It's ready! You can move on to the celebrations.
