Ingredients
For 6 persons:
- 1 shortcrust or puff pastry of your choice
- 80 gr of sugar
- 75 gr of butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 can of sliced pineapple (10 slices)
- 1 teaspoon of yeast
- 100 gr of flour
- Icing sugar
- Liquid vanilla
- Rum (only intended for an adult audience)
Preparation
- Spread your shortcrust pastry in a pie dish then prick it with a fork.
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (thermostat 6), once at temperature, insert the shortcrust / puff pastry for about ten minutes.
- Once pre-baked (dough has become hard), take your shortcrust pastry out of the oven.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter then turn off the heat.
- In a container pour the sugar, butter and eggs until a frothy mixture is obtained.
- Incorporate the yeast into the flour then pour both into the rest of the preparation.
- Add a teaspoon of liquid vanilla and a tablespoon of rum.
- Pour your preparation over the shortcrust / puff pastry in the pie dish.
- Take the pineapple slices from the box while retaining the juice.
- Place them on top of the dough so that the entire dish is covered.
- In an oven preheated to 180°C (thermostat 6), cook for another half an hour while monitoring the cooking.
- Once out of the tower, sprinkle with icing sugar and a few drops of pineapple juice.
- Let cool before serving.
- It's ready! You can move on to the celebrations.
