Rocher de la Caravelle is an uninhabited islet located in Trinité, in the extension of the Caravelle peninsula.
Its topography (layout, relief) and extremely steep escarpments make it totally inaccessible.
Conical in shape, the rock has the appearance of a volcanic cul-de-sac. It is, in fact, an islet of volcanic origin.
Rocher de la Caravelle rises some ten meters above sea level and has an average diameter of around fifty meters. Conical in shape, the rock is circumscribed on all sides.
It is devoid of any vegetation.
It is managed by the Conservatoire du Littoral.
It is inaccessible and no human presence is permitted.
