Montgérald Habitation is an old dwelling house of Marin. The residence was occupied by the Charron family, one of the richest of the time. The structure is made with wood and covered with tiles.
In 1869, near the central factory of Marin was built Montgerald Habitation. It supplies the cane for a century until the closure of the industrial establishment. The main house has a facade made of composite materials, wood and stone was built in a "U", a common plan in Martinique.
The field of Montgérald Habitation has been a historical monument since June 3, 1993.
Note that taking pictures is allowed only from the outside.
