The Carnival Soley Sud Show kicks off the Martinique Carnival, which will take place during the jours gras (Fat Days). This year, more than a dozen walking groups will compete for the title of best walking group on the island.

The competition will unfold in the streets of Saint-Esprit, from 3 PM to 6 PM.

To win, groups must showcase originality in their costumes, creativity in their musical performance, and precise choreography synchronization, which will also be judged.

The top three groups will receive a cash prize sponsored by McDonald’s, the event’s main partner.
