Anse Désert

Anse Désert is located next to the Karibea Resort, notably the Résidence Corail, and is frequented mainly by Resort guests. Like its Sainte-Luce counterparts, it offers ideal bathing conditions. Its golden sands and turquoise waters are second to none in the south.

Its great distinction is undoubtedly the many trees lining the beach, which provide pleasant shade for picnics and a more balanced exposure to the sun. What's more, the large boulders have created natural bathtubs that are ideal for children.

Anse Désert is not very popular during the week or even at weekends.

To get there, take the D7 departmental road, then the N5 national road leading to the Sainte-Luce beaches. Then take a dirt road for about 200 meters past "Karib Pizza". On-site parking is available.

Bateliere beach

Hôtel Batelière boasts a magnificent beach that will leave you breathless. Its turquoise waters and fine sand will leave you with unforgettable memories when you return from your vacation. Rocks and a pontoon near the beach protect it from waves and swell.

The beach is equipped with deckchairs for hotel guests.

A bar-restaurant and diving club are nearby.

To get there from Fort-de-France, follow signs for Schoelcher and at the traffic circle where you see the casino, turn left past it towards the Hôtel Batelière. You'll need to cross the hotel to get to the beach.

Pointe du Bout

Located in Trois-Ilets in the extension of the Anse Mitan, Pointe du Bout offers a magnificent panorama over the bay of Fort-de-France.

Unlike other beaches in Martinique, more "wild" and authentic, the Pointe du Bout is a beach fitted by the hotels present nearby who wants luxury because it is exclusively for geared towards tourists.

Organized beaches resemble small lagoons. It is truly a landscape that will enchant visitors with the presence of sun loungers, parasols but especially a small bar floating on a pontoon.

Anse à l'Âne

L'Anse à l'âne in Trois-Ilets is a small, pleasant and quiet bathing spot that will delight tourists staying in the commune of Trois-Ilets.

Lined with small hotels and restaurants, it offers a magnificent view of Fort-de-France on its right and the îlet à Ramiers on its left. With no significant waves or currents, it is ideal for swimming for the youngest. With no major waves or currents, it's ideal for younger swimmers, although the presence of pebbles is not ideal.

If the beach of Anse à l'Âne is little frequented during the week, on weekends, it is taken by storm by local families or tourists on vacation in the island.

It has benches and tables for picnics. Restaurants are located nearby or on the beach to eat while enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

To get there, you have to go to Trois-Ilets and then follow the direction Anses d'Arlet.

Anse Mitan

Anse Mitan is a white-sand beach in the commune of Les Trois-Îlets. It is bordered by numerous hotels, a casino and souvenir stores. Located opposite Fort-de-France, it offers a superb panorama of the city and the Pitons du Carbet.

It is very popular with tourists, especially those staying in the local hotels.

To get there, you can either take the shuttle boat from Fort-de-France or go to the commune of Trois-Ilets and, once downtown, follow the signs for Anses d'Arlet. A sign announces the beach.
